This novella, in the Boys of the Big Easy series, is about Lindsey and her military husband Matt. Lindsey has been holding down the home front with their 2 sons while Matt is away serving the country. It is getting close to Christmas and the support group she attends is having their Christmas party complete with a Santa for the kids, and one for the adults. Lindsey knows her one wish from Santa for Christmas, Matt home with the family safe and sound. As a military spouse, she knows time together is never guaranteed.
Another wonderful read just as I’ve come to expect from Ms. Nicholas. All our favorite past and hopefully current characters are represented well. Having read a few books from this series already, this was like icing on the cake. This series has such wonderful potential and I can’t wait for Caleb and Lexi’s story, next up in the series lineup.
I will literally never look at eggnog the same way again. I received an advance copy of this 4 ½ stars for this read without expectation for review. Any and all opinions expressed are my own. Off to buy me some eggnog ;)
