I'll Always Love You by Ella Quinn

I'll Always Love You (The Worthingtons, #5.5)I'll Always Love You by Ella Quinn

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Lucinda is having her coming out season and bringing her mother to the city with her, albeit begrudgingly as her sponsor, brings both happiness and stresses. Her Brother and Sister in Law lend help where they can but ultimately it is up to Lucinda to navigate this new normal. When her mother declares her having chosen Lucinda’s husband that was enough to motivate Lucinda to master her own destiny.

Gerald is a friend of Rothwell, Lucinda’s brother, and when asked to keep his eye out for Lucinda agrees without hesitation. He doesn’t quite expect to find himself attracted to Lucinda in the process. When Lucinda lets him in on her plan to find a better match for her intended he isn’t sure how to feel. He finds himself more taken by Lucinda day after day but can’t see a way to find out if the attraction is reciprocated.

Gerald and Lucinda work together to bring couples together who were meant for each other to begin with. Together they make a great working team in each area of life special to themselves. This was the first novel I’ve read by Ms Quinn. I love historical pieces and this one does not disappoint. It flowed well and I loved all the historical references, as well as the explanations of historical situations at the end of the book. I received an advance copy from Netgalley without expectation for review. Any and all opinions expressed for this 4 solid star read are my own.
