Your Wildest Dreams by Tawdra KandleMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Zelda and Eli have a history that no one but the two of them know. He was her first and she was his too many to count. Fast forward to college years and each of them has become a different version of themselves so even they don’t recognize themselves anymore. Living in a new normal, the two of them work on building a true and honest friendship that can sustain them during their school years. In a tight knit group, they work hard at keeping prying eyes and ears out of their business, but realize they are drawn to each other. But can Zelda keep the voices telling her to run, run fast and far away, quiet to reap the benefits of being in Eli’s circle?
Once again Tawdra weaves a perfect mix of main and secondary characters to enjoy. This is book 5 in the Keeping Score series of which I have the first 4 books sitting unread on my TBR shelf (don’t judge me it is a huge shelf). From what I understand, the previous books are written in the same time frame but from the other group member points of view (ie Quinn and Leo etc). While I will admit I thought this would be totally confusing, I found the storyline of Zelda and Eli to flow along well with patches here and there of the others and their goings-on, but never interfering or making me feel like I was missing a part of the story. I am now motivated to go back and read the first 4 books in the series just to see those storylines play out.
A wonderful 4 star read that I received in advance without expectation for review. Any and all opinions expressed are my own. Definitely grab Zelda and Eli’s story but first pick up the other 4 books so you can follow along with the circle of friends as they experience life, and all her struggles.
